Laboratory of Environmental Analysis

The Laboratory of Environmental Analysis of the UT Testing Centre has long experience in chemical analyses of water and in the field of wastewater treatment technologies.

Chemical analyses of 6 key parameters of wastewater and effluent are within the scope of accreditation, but many other chemical analyses of both water and solid samples (activated sludge, sewage sludge, etc.) are performed, for which the methodologies are not within the scope of accreditation.

In addition, process studies of wastewater treatment plants are carried out, to assess the impact of industrial wastewater on wastewater treatment processes (nitrification, denitrification and oxygen demand inhibition tests and determination of the biodegradability of wastewater).
